Description
Use Pliobond 20 for bonding together dense or non-porous materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics, composites, dense rubber or closed cell foam rubber.
PLIOBOND adhesive is a viscous, tan colored, general-purpose thermoplastic adhesive that can be used to bond virtually all porous and non-porous substrates. When cured, PLIOBOND is resistant to vibration, mechanical shock and oxidation and remains flexible over a wide temperature range. Outstanding dielectric properties with low moisture absorption. PLIOBOND is ready to use; no conditioner, accelerator, or catalyst is required. Apply by spraying, roll coating, knife coating, or brushing. Thin with methyl-ethyl-ketone (MEK).
Note: Use Pliobond 30 for bonding porous materials such as cowl chafe seals, wood, felt, leather, open cell foam rubber seals to metals or plastics.

Did not use as originally intended, used another product.
I did receive the item promptly, shipping cost was more than product cost. Performed tests of quality of bond, dry and wet combinations, on rubber air-gap seal and aluminium. This needed clamping to obtain good contact. Then performed similar tests on Loctite "power grab" product, provided immediate "grab" with no clamping needed. It was much easier to use than Pliobond. I do not know how the Loctite material will hold up over time and UV. Generally, well pleased with service from Aircraft-Specialties, and will keep the Pliobond for use on future projects.
