    works like a charm

    Had to replace the check valve on a 40 year old air compressor. Original part, which is no longer available, threads in and had an integral seal. Substitute did not come with a seal and no appropriate seal was available from normal sources. Found these copper gaskets on line which are the right size for the job. Took a gamble that they would work. Crush to a perfect seal when proper clamp load is applied. Problem solved

    OIL LEAK Stopped

    I had a pressurized oil leak on a Ford engine, caused by cross threading a fitting. This crush washer was the correct part to withstand the temperature and pressure to resolve this leak issue!
